About: Utah - Zion NP Photo Workshop

In the first week of November, I headed out to Zion National Park in Southwestern Utah for a photography workshop with Rocky Mountain School of Photography. For a whole week, we tramped around the park, took pictures, had some lecture, and had our photos critiqued. This was probably the best time of year to hit Zion... Not only were the fall colors stunning, but the only people in the park were photographers (which could be a good or bad thing).

This was a great experience for many reasons. First off the instructors, Elizabeth Stone and Tim Cooper were absolutely fantastic. Their depth of knowledge was first rate, and their teaching style was relaxed and positive. The group as a whole also made the week go by well, the talent of all the photographers was inspiring.

I highly recommend RMSP to anyone that's interested in doing a photo workshop. Enjoy the photos!
